Hurricane predicting is not an exact science and people must prepare for a worst-case scenario. Yes, it can be inconvenient, but preparing for the worst while hoping for the best is prudent.

This did not have to be done, all cuts could have been allowed to expire which would not be the first of Obama's campaign rhetoric to go by the wayside, Obama could have refused to sign any bill not allowing tax cuts to expire for the wealthy.

Bad move; we need to be concentrating on alternative-to-oil, renewable sources and not potentially creating an environmental horror.

Compared to bankers, they are being shafted. Government interference has tilted to the wealthy, but doesn't it always?
